Profile:
During his long distinguished career of almost 36 years of Railway service he held various important posts in the operating, Commercial and General Administration Departments on South Central, Southern, Central, North Frontier & South Eastern Railways. He served as General Manager in Rail India Technical and Economic services (RITES) New Delhi and as General Manager-Andhra Pradesh State Trading Corporation where he handled imports of cement and export of rice to Russia, Africa and South America. He is also founder member of the Institute of Rail Transport. He officiated as General Manager, SC Railway and General Manager, NF Railway in 1994-95. As in charge & administrative head he was responsible for overseeing the work of Major Departments such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering apart from Personnel, Finance, Security etc, of the Railways.

Profile:
During his service on Indian Railways, he was involved in planning construction and management of large Railway projects consisting of various tracks and Bridge works including gauge conversion, doubling, major construction of new lines, major yards, bridges etc. He has dealt with project planning, monitoring and coordinating construction of rail road bridges with the use of modern concepts and management techniques. He was responsible for preparation of compendium of instructions on contract matters and arbitration. He has also served as Officer on special duty Industrial Relations where he has dealt with intra and inters union matters. During his tenure in Central Water and Power Commission, he was in charge of design and estimate of various steel, RCC and PSC structures such as spillways, aqueducts, viaducts, bridges and buildings.

As Inspector of Works, he carried out surveys for new lines, doublings and construction of new lines, major bridges with well foundations and doublings. Also carried out prestigious building construction. He also associated with planning, costing and execution  of  major Railway Yards, New Lines and Double Lines, construction of major bridges with well  foundations,  road  over  bridges and prestigious  buildings  like  Rail  Nilayam  (South Central Railway Head Quarters Office) and  Indian Railways Institute of Signal and Telecommunications (IRISET).
